Terms & Conditions

A deposit of 20% is required when a booking is made. 

  1. The balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the date of the tour, or the booking may not be held open. If paying via World-Pay (secure Gateway), we will send a World-Payl e-mail request to you on the appropriate dates.
      
  2. Any cancellation made by the customer after 30 days before the tour, will not have the deposit refunded. Any cancellation made by the customer after 14 days before the tour no refund will be made. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
     
  3. It is the customers responsibility to be at the agreed collection point at the agreed time and we cannot be held responsible for any loss or expense suffered if not. We reserve the right to refuse a booking or terminate a client's tour in the event of unreasonable conduct, If you are prevented from travelling or continuing your tour by such termination, our responsibility for your tour ceases. Cancellation charges will apply.
     
  4. We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate holiday insurance to cover your costs should illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances cause you or other members of your party to cancel or curtail your booked tours. 
  5. All tours are based on the suggested itineraries shown on the website or agreed bespoke requirements. We reserve the right to make changes to routes should it be necessary. Should The Rural Carriage Company be unable to meet their obligation to you after a tour has been booked, the following options will be available:
    a) alternative dates for your booked tour(s) or an alternative tour(s)
    b) cancel your booking with a full refund.
    No other claims for compensation will be considered. 
  6. We shall have NO liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience whether direct or consequential however caused. We are NOT responsible for any personal injury or losses you may suffer while visiting any place of interest or activity not directly provided by The Rural Carriage Company. 
  7. We will do our best to satisfy any special requests you may have for items to be included in a booked tour. 
  8. We will make changes to your itinerary before or during your tour at the sole discretion of the driver/guide.
  9. We can provide suggestions for your Hotel/accommodation. You will be responsible for all bookings and accommodation payments.
